SLMMS Alliance
The St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Society Alliance serves the community through health education, charitable projects, and legislative advocacy. Our members include physician spouses, medical residents, medical students and friends and family of physicians.
We invite you to join us!

During COVID-19, Alliance activities have focused on the Hungry Heroes project in which hundreds of gift bags have been delivered to area hospitals as a gift and inspiration to frontline health care workers.
Other Alliance activities include:
• Health Education. Alliance members present several health education programs in local schools: Drugs Are Not For Me, Smoking Makes Me Ugly and others.
• Charitable Projects. The Alliance works with students at Loyola Academy of St. Louis on an annual essay and speaking contest. The Alliance also raises funds at various events throughout the year and donates to nonprofit agencies such as St. Martha’s Hall, St. Louis Area Food Bank and others, and provides scholarships for medical students.

• Legislative Advocacy. Each February, Alliance members join with the Missouri State Medical Association Alliance for an advocacy day at the Missouri State Capitol. Members contact legislators on issues supported in the MSMA legislative agenda. They also gain insight into the legislative process.
Alliance members participate in MSMA Alliance state conferences which provide leadership development and education opportunities. Fundraising events of the Alliance include the Holiday Sharing Card and various special events throughout the year.
Help make a difference for the community through the Alliance!
