The St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Society Alliance hosted 12 students from Loyola Academy for an Oct. 27 luncheon at the Missouri Athletic Club where they presented their winning speeches in the annual Voices of Excellence program. An audience of Alliance members, Medical Society members and parents heard the students give presentations on the topic of community violence. For the past month, Alliance members and friends have been working with the youth in developing the content and presentation style of their speeches. Loyola Academy is a Jesuit middle school for boys. Thanks to the Alliance members and volunteer judges who helped with this year’s program.
