Asthma Ready CME Training, Quality Data and QI Opportunity – Free to SLMMS members
On behalf of the University of Missouri Asthma Ready Communities team, SLMMS members are invited to a “CME Asthma Ready Clinical Training Part 1” from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM on October 10 at the Midwest Health Initiative offices 8888 Ladue Rd. Ste 250, St. Louis, MO 63124. Dinner will be provided.
Below is a basic description of the course. In addition, presenters will introduce attendees to the Asthma Patient panel reports and IMPACT Asthma ECHO. These QI and data services will be provided to attendees at no charge at a later date. The presenters also will discuss new MO regulations that improve provider reimbursements for those providing high-quality asthma care to Medicaid patients.
Asthma Ready Clinic Training, Part 1© – This evidence-based 1.5-2 hour CME program developed by the MU School of Medicine based on Physicians Asthma Care Education (PACE) is intended for physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who provide direct care to individuals who have asthma. ARCT I is aimed at peaking interest in EPR3-compliant practices in primary care.
