Missouri House and Senate Begin Hearings on Medicaid Reform

The Missouri House and Senate have appointed special committees to study reform of the state’s Medicaid system and the issue of Medicaid expansion funded under the Affordable Care Act. These committees have begun holding hearings. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that one of the groups, the House Interim Committee on Citizens and Legislators Working Group on Medicaid Eligibility and Reform, has a hearing scheduled for Aug. 14 in St. Louis
