Updated St. Louis County COVID-19 Isolation and Quarantine Guidelines

Physicians can release St. Louis County COVID-19 patients from isolation following CDC guidelines, according to a statement issued November 13 by the St. Louis County Department of Public Health. This emergency provision has been implemented due to limited capacity of Public Health staff to continue handling releases.

The department also asks physicians to provide clinical assessment and documentation to patients as part of their release from isolation.

Further details are provided in this letter from County Public Health. Read the letter.

Also monitor the County’s COVID-19 website for updates, https://stlcorona.com/

Note: This order applies only to St. Louis County and not to other jurisdictions.
