SLMMS Sponsors IDEA Labs Demo Day on May 1 – All SLMMS Members Invited to Attend

All St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Society physician members are invited to the IDEA Labs Demo Day, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2015, at 4240 Duncan Avenue (Cortex District). Medical student multidisciplinary teams from Washington University will be demonstrating their inventions to improve clinical care at the event.

IDEA Labs is a medical bioengineering, design, and entrepreneurship incubator founded in 2013 at Washington University in St. Louis by medical students. IDEA Labs is a collaboration of medical, engineering, and business students, faculty, staff and St. Louis entrepreneurs with the common goal of tackling unmet needs in healthcare delivery and clinical medicine.

Through an educational grant from the St. Louis Society for Medical and Scientific Education (SLSMSE), SLMMS is proud to be a sponsor of this event, and we invite all members interested in innovation and entrepreneurship to view the progress of these medical student teams. The students are very excited to meet and learn from you, and we invite you to join us to help recruit these young, future physicians to our society
